It's been a while since I've taken a look at bluetooth headphones.

And realistically, in the bulk they are getting them made, it's probably way cheaper than that. I highly doubt it's costing them more than 50 cents to produce one of em. I have another use case which is slightly less niche but even though I'm in that group, is in fact niche: audiophiles. Any decent engineer will want to try both expensive and cheap headphones attached to a phone. Audio engineers testing out a mix on various speaker types.

I have one use case which is niche, but it exists. In 2018, what is the use-case for wired headphones to a phone that doesn't start with "wellll.back in my day." If I'm in the car, it's charging and BTing to my car's in-built audio. If I'm at home or in the office, it's charging and I'm walking around listening via BT headphones. My phone is rarely within arm's reach of me.so not within wire's reach. For cripe's sake, there's a wired thunderbolt set in the box if you're so attached to wires. Why ship something that will never be used or just thrown away?Īpple hasn't supported 3.5mm for two years. What a load of shit.īecause their probably shows most people either use the headphones in the box or use wireless. I don't understand how they can price the iPhone at $750 and above and not include a $9 adapter.
